Blade Boil
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
A simple game about cutting up enemies to make a dish.
Controls:
WASD to move, comma [,] to attack, escape to open menu, and left mouse to navigate menu.
To install: Unzip to your preferred folder and run bladeboil on your OS. It may give you a warning about an unrecognized publisher, just ignore that ;)

NOTE: This is a prototype build. A lot of things we had to cut due to time, and many more things are a bit scuffed. Perhaps we will complete the game if there is enough support :)

Cute, the artstyle and music are very fun, and they fit together great! I love the overall idea, the island and the chef that cooks the enemies. The chef looks so silly. I love that the cursor in the menu is a little knife
I ran into a bug in the third room, I tried going back to the previous room and the character disappeared, making it imposible to progress.
Because it's a prototype there's of course some things that feel a little off or moments that feel unpolished, but i think this could be a fun little game if you end up finishing it, i hope that you won't give up on this project! It's really missing the promised Gordon Ramsay :)
Thanks a lot, we all worked hard on it. If we do decide to finish it, there'll definitely be a lot more music, especially since i have finished songs that didn't get used 👀
